The client is a group of experienced doctors. They required a smart pain relief device which is portable and can track therapy information of individual patient.

Glide along with its industrial design partner, delivered product engineering service as well as industrial design of the product.

32-bit low power MCU based solution was developed to automate the treatment and keep record of time and intensity of the therapy.

Business Need

To build a scalable and automated product based on Laser & TENS therapy for healing pain in shoulder, knee, back, neck and store information of individual patient’s treatment history.

Glide Solution

Glide along with its industrial design partner, provided product engineering as well as industrial design solution.

The device was built on 32-bit low power MCU with Bluetooth to transfer and register individual patient’s therapy time and treatment intensity. Design contains dual electrodes at 2 ends to treat different affected muscle areas. The 7 segment rotatable display allows the user to read the data both the way.
