Upendra Patel
CEO & Founder
Upendra Patel brings over 40 years of experience in embedded product design industry. He has proven track record of building and nurturing in house technology teams and growing business profitability. He has managed complex product development projects in consumer, video, security & surveillance, automation, medical, avionics and defense domains for Fortune 500 companies across USA, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Prior to starting Glide Technology, Upendra worked as CTO at eInfochips (an Arrow company) for 12 years and played instrumental role in inception to growth of product engineering services group to 500+ people while executing multi-million dollars projects for key accounts. Before eInfochips, he worked as R & D Manager at Masibus for 10 years to develop various industrial automation products.
Upendra is a gold medalist Electronics Engineering graduate from L.D. College of Engineering, Gujarat. He is also PMP certified professional.
Rajeev Gupta
Solutions Architect - RF & System Design
Rajeev Gupta comes with 30 + years of experience in electronic product development with focus in video, instrumentation, controls and embedded electronics. He has helped Organizations for innovative product development in many sectors such as Avionics, Defense, Clean Energy & Consumer Electronics and have completed projects for Institute of Plasma Research & ISRO.
Prior to starting his entrepreneurial journey, he worked for 7 years as Deputy R & D Manager at MAS Zengrange Ltd., New Zealand. He was managing design and manufacturing of GPS, LRF, handheld PC, Windows CE & RF based remote detonation products and military 810E standard products as well as product design for extreme environmental applications interfacing to Thales, Harris and similar military radios.
Rajeev has a Master of Technology in Electronics & Communication from IIT Kanpur. He holds patent for plasma process in India granted by WIPO.
Dipen Patel
Director of Embedded Software
Dipen Patel is an accomplished leader with over 18 years of experience in embedded product engineering services. He has successfully delivered large and complex solutions for Fortune 100 & 500 companies in Automotive, Avionics, Consumer, Home Automation, IoT, Medical, Retail, Security & Surveillance and Telecom domains. He has also worked with multiple start-ups as an engineering partner and enabled them with engineering best practices. He has worked in USA, France & China and has an experience in managing programs with teams located across the globe.
Previously, Dipen was associated with Dell India R&D Centre, Freescale Semiconductor (now NXP) & eInfochips (an Arrow company). Prior to joining Glide Technology, Dipen has worked as a Senior Program Manager at Volansys, where he was leading a team of 100+ people and responsible for key multi-years, multi-million dollars accounts. At Volansys, he also played a pivotal role in implementing ISO 9001:2015 for Engineering division.
Dipen holds Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Ganpat University. He is also PMI Agile Certified Professional (PMI-ACP)® and Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant.
Pankaj Haldekar
Project Manager - Hardware
Pankaj Haldekar has over 15 years of experience in developing industrial products for global market. He has deep expertise with process, data acquisition, condition monitoring for products in the domain of IoT, Solar, Industrial Automation and Healthcare. He has experience working with Protocols – Zigbee, ModBus, CAN Bus, Tools – ORCAD, Microchip IDE, and different H/W Interfaces & Power Supplies.
Before joining Glide Technology, Pankaj worked as Product Manager at Masibus. During his 12 years tenure, he focused on design, develop & upgrade of 30+ products in various verticals. He was responsible for managing hardware design, software development, mechanical development and product EMI/EMC testing of all the products. He was also handling client communication, project management and distributor & vendor management.
Pankaj holds M.Sc in Electronics from Sardar Patel University, Gujarat.
Sanket Patel
Director – Marketing & Business Development
Sanket Patel has worked in the IT industry for more than 10 years, gaining experience in Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing, Sales and Business Development. With proficiency in content, communication and campaign, he is responsible for New Client Acquisition, Event Management, Brand Positioning and Revenue Generation. He is well connected with the startups and technology ecosystem around the globe.
Prior to Glide Technology, he was at CIGNEX Datamatics, where he served as Marketing Executive. During his tenure, he was responsible for implementing Marketing Strategy for Open Source Services & Products. He was involved in Partner Communication, Content Creation, Lead Management & Nurturing.
Sanket holds Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from Ganpat University, Gujarat. He is HubSpot Content & Email certified professional as well as Google Analytics & AdWords certified professional.
